Process
Our process is consistent with the Financial Plannning Practice Standards developed by the Certfied Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc.
ESTABLISHING AND DEFINING THE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CLIENT
Our free, initial consultation will start by:
- Identifying the services to be provided
- Disclosing the practitioner's compensation arrangements
- Determining the client's and advisor's responsibilites
GATHERING CLIENT DATA
We will then:
- Determine your personal and financial goals, needs and priorities
- Gather information about your income and assets by utilizing a Confidential Suitability Questionaire
ANALYZING AND EVALUATING THE CLIENT'S FINANCIAL STATUS
Above information will be analyzed using:
- Personal assumptions such as: retirement age, life expectancy, income needs, risk factors, time horizon or any special needs that the client may have.
- Financial assumptions, such as: inflation rates, tax rates and investment returns.
DEVELOPING AND PRESENTING RECOMMENDATIONS
- We'll present customized solutions and alternatives consistent with your goals, needs and priorities, for example: written retirement plan, current and recommended asset allocation or a personalized Investment Policy Statement.
IMPLEMENTATION
You may choose us to implement the investment recommendations we have provided. Depending on your needs, the portfolio may be allocated in:
- Mutual funds
- Exchange Traded Funds
- Closed End Funds
- Individual stocks including ADRs
- Individual bonds including foreign
- Other fixed income instruments, for example CDs
- Equipment Leasing Programs
- Seperately Managed Accounts
- Third Party manager arrangements
- Real Estate Investment Trusts and/or others.
MONITORING
Once portfolio has been implemented, it is critical to monitor and rebalance it as needed. Clients' porfolios are continually reviewed to ensure that the asset allocation objectives are being met.
